Playing for bishop auckland 2nd's today and we are away at Whitby :neutral:long drive for what will almost certainly be a defeat. was wanting to go to bolton game but was saving up for brothers stag which i now cant go to, so we will probably win today and i will feel even worse

What's the furthest you's travel for away games?

I think you may have had a lucky escape.

damn, i knew i should of gone to the footy!!

we got to whitby, rain but played, they got 211/7 off their 50 overs, with bowling figures of 7 (overs).1 (maiden) .0 (wickets) .21 (runs) and we got 158/9, i got 7. ended a draw as we needed 158 for a normal draw and not a losing draw!

Different sport like, but in our league this year are Lincoln, Rotherham, two teams from Leeds, Doncaster, Huddersfield and Wakefield...

One of the reasons I packed in playing for Horden second team is that I was sick of the travel, Gateshead Fell, North Durham, South Shields etc. Sometimes not getting back till after 9pm on a Saturday night was no good for a 19yo who enjoyed going out on the lash.
