3rds Cup game vs Consett.

Hello all.

Houghton 3rds have a Cup game vs Consett to be played on or before Friday June 17th. This hasn't been booked in for any particular date so I was wondering if anyone had any particular preference for a date?

This is a 20 over game so can be played midweek, and can also be held on a Sunday but has to remain 20 overs.

The SMB have no games between 19th May and 2nd June so if people wanted a 20/20 "filler" in that time, then I'd propose the 27th May (Friday).

As it's a home game, it needs to be played on a Tuesday or Friday. And the date I have picked there is no game for the SMBcc. Since most of the 3rd team is SMB-orientated I figured it would be better to play one game when we have a free week for the SMB rather than (potentially) struggling for players if we have 2 or even 3 games in a week.

I have already told them just to pick any Friday but cheers for bringing this up anyway. You are more than welcome to chase their lad in the handbook (Andrew?) on it if you're keen to get it pencilled in.

Trying to get an idea of when people want to play, but don't want to leave everyone with having to miss out on games because I've booked 3 in a week! The date I've suggested is the only Friday this season where the SMB don't have a game the same week, which is why I've put it forward.
