I think we're getting a bit Pure Footabll here lads, we don't make 300 and suddenly it's panic stations. Let's see what happens today.....

Make that 108-5. Lost 3 wickets without scoring there.

The Sussex commentator was beginning to get smug when Stokes was being smacked around. Not any more.

I'm going to have a head down to the Riverside tomorrow I think - sounds like Durham could be on top so it'll no doubt be a good day!

Any score updates? BBC website has been stuck on 162-8 for about 45 minutes!
 
Got sunstroke from yesterdays play,red all down the right hand side of me face :oops:
 
Slow progress with the bat. Just need to dig in here as we are effectively 127 for 1 in a one match innings. Even if we get near to 200 it should be enough as I cant see Sussex chasing down 300 in the 4th innings.

Two down now but it remarkable really that Durham can be so well up in the game without Harmison, Onions, Plunkett, Collingwood, Stoneman and without any contributions from DiVa and Benks (as yet)
Shows they have a canny squad - and how bad sussex are i suppose.
 
This commentators annoying me. If we can score 292 and they can only make 194 why does he assume we're in trouble at 48/3? Are they really good enough to make up the 98 defecit.

Exactly, the figures returned by Panesar and Blackwell on frst innings suggest that there's plenty in the pitch for the spinners and that's only going to become more apparent as the game wears on. If Durham can get 280+ ahead they'll surely be in the box seat.
