Haway mate. I went for Pak or SL, both are still in the running.

Do I win anything?

Cheers, mate

Need a low scoring game on Saturday with ducks for Sangakara, Trott, Strauss as Tendulkar's top scorer now. Jimmy getting all 10 wickets would be nice too.

If he plays

It would be a bloody miracle mate but I admire your optimism.

6 people currently have 1 prediction correct - CollingwoodFTM, Dexter, EddyFinn, MaccerG-SAFC, Maccster31 and Stephen Cartwright

None of us have correctly predicted all 4 semi-finalists. 11 of us have got 2 correct and the other 4 have got 1 right.

I had Sri Lanka to win and India runners up

So I predicted the final 2 and got no points????

This is a joke ;)

Carty has the rulebook mate but I imagine you will get points for those predictions. I didn't include you in the update earlier as I was only counting entrants that did the whole range of predictions.

I did the whole range, just the rest were wrong, and I none right at any of the round ups.

And I did have them the wrong way around, put in a cheeky edit ;)

Sorry mate, was getting you mixed up with somebody else. :)

Dear Stephen Cartwright

There is no need for you to buy a trophy for this competition unless there is a gap on your own mantlepiece. You have come from behind to pip myself and a few others.

Final Table (using Carty's convoluted scoring system):

1. Stephen Cartwright 190
2. Breen Machine 180
2. Big Bad Bri 180
2. SuperKev 180
5. Maccster31 140
6. Hutch 130
7. AndySAFC 110
8. Sunderland Till I Die 100
9. Dexter 90
9. Durham 90
11. MaccerG-SAFC 70
12. Collingwood FTM 40
12. Eddy Finn 40
14. MikeManc 0
14. Conolly31 0

Dilshan ended up top scorer with 500 runs ahead of Tendulkar (482) and Sangakkara (465).

Thanks to his brace today Z Khan finished up joint leading wicket taker with Afridi on 21. Southee finished behind them on 18.

Trott and Swann took the honours for England.

Well Done Mr C

Yours Faithfully
Big Bad Bri

considering we have the worlds best spinner and a highly skilled with multiple new found varities in his armoury that against the worlds best on flat wickets, they were found wanting and we just about scraped into the q/f before being ahailated by a side whose two best batsman didnt even get to the crease

thank goodness that we are returning to the damp, dark and overcast conditions of England

You really do love it when England fail, dont you?

And Swann only got 3 wickets less than Murali, who played 2 games more.

read most newspapers and they will tell you Murali is well past his best.

He is nearly 39 and has groin, hamstring and shoulder problems as per all media outlets

good comparison though....did Afridi get 21 wickets

England didnt fail, South Africa A failed
