Havent been able to change my captain for today (attempted to do it on my phone at half 5 this morning while still drunk, but the cricinfo site wouldnt let me log in) but I probably would have went for Watson anyway (him or Yuvraj, but I'm not going to tell myself that otherwise at this rate I'll be kicking myself).
 

For the first time in the tournament I've got no Aussies in my team.

I've gone for Yuvraj (c), Zaheer and Sehwag. Not a bad start so far.
 
I've got Lee and Watson so hope they help themselves to a few wickets but I would be grateful if they could let my captain, Yuvraj, get a ton.
 
My decision to pick 5 Saffers doesn't look to be one of my finest at the moment. :oops::-(

I tried to balance each match by picking two players from one team and one from another in each OF, based on which team I thought would win. Picked 2 saffers today so going to have to use an extra transfer but not a disaster, still should have 10/11 players playing in the final.....he says with fingers firmly xsd :lol:

I used the same logic as you and therefore after the first 2 games I had 2 Aussies and a West Indian surplus to requirements. I was convinced the Saffers would comfortably beat NZ so decided to drop those 3 and replace them with Amla, Kallis and Tahir in addition to Peterson and Duminy that I had chosen from the start.

Oh well, I'll just replace them with as many Indians as I can....which of course means that Pakistan will beat them in the semi on Wednesday. :)
 
Half of my team has already gone home. I think I might be cursed :lol: If I take out Trott England might have a chance tomorrow :lol:
 
Didn't realise you only had 10 transfers for the knockout stages, had so many Aussies and Saffers I've got no transfers left and still 1 Saffer in me team still (Well 2 if you count Trott)

After my faux pas in not noticing the captain changes between matches in phase 1. I made sure read the rules about 5 times before phase 2 started :lol:
 
Not a bad day today for me. I had 3 Saffers in my line up but Tahir and De Villiers performed decently and Taylor's knock for New Zealand got me a few points.

I've got nee Sri Lankans in for tomorrow's game though. I might take a punt and put 3 or 4 in seeing as I fancy them to beat England tomorrow; and hopefully this will be enough to jinx them as all of my predictions usually end up being wrong. :lol:
 
have been hopeless in the knockout stages so far. still got my 10 transfers left so should be able to make up some ground ... just need to figure out who I think will win the semi's.

Hoping to get all XI playing in the Final.
 
Never entered the league but I've got 7,481 points and currently stand 67,966. Two transfers available.

Anyone know how many people are in the whole thing?
 
On to win the league at this rate... just concerned i have a only 4 changes left and Pakistan, India, SA, England, New Zealand and Sri Lanka players still.

Hoping for a India-Sri Lanka final.

My captains been my reasons behind my success. Hassef, Yurvaj and Dilshan this week
 
not sure whether i should keep murali. injury didn't look very good at the end of england's innings.
 
This is how my day went today:

Bresnan - 0-40
Swann - 0 (1) & 0-61
Tredwell - 0-38
Jayawardne & Sangakkara (c) - DNB

At least I only have to transfer out my England players. Leaves me with a decent 3 transfers for the final.

Hutch is bottom of our league and he is in 159,455th position. I reckon there won't be too many below him as he has admitted to not giving a fuck:).

With a score of 7,481 you would currently be 17th in our league - must try harder MBH;).
