IMO it will be one of:

Plunkett
Woakes
Finn
Rashid

But I think they will suprise everyone and call up Jade Dernbach
 
They seem to love Liam Plunkett for some reason, even though he's hardly seethe world alight at Durham.
 
I'd take Plunkett as he's bowled in these conditions before and bowls well to left-handers. Wouldn't be surprised if they went for Rashid but we already have 3 spinners out there so don't really see the need for another. Again wouldn't be surprised if they went for Woakes but I think I'd opt for Plunkett's greater experience of sub-continent conditions.
 
f***ing hell another Saffa, I don't mind Strauss and Prior as they are clearly English and had an English upbringing but Trott and Dernbach have really pushed it a bit far. How must the English lads like Plunkett and Woakes feel?, missing out on a World Cup spot to a South African. I feel a bit sorry for them personally.

in fairness do you know anything about his background?

hasn't played for any major team in SA unlike Trott

He hasn't, in fact he came through the Surrey Academy which is a good sign, if he has been brought up and schooled here like Strauss and Prior I'll gladly retract derogotary statements.

I was trying to annoy EB/The Lambton Worm to be honest. I couldn't care where he comes from. If he qualifies to play for England and is good enough then that's enough for me!
 
A couple of points;

- A bizarre choice given Woakes looked decent against the Aussies
- Why dont the ICC just allow bigger squads, take a squad of 20 and if you get injuries then thats just tough.
