Fair play to him. I think it's a shame that only Justin Fashanu that I know of has ever done it in football. Max Clifford has said that it would ruin a player's career but if he's banging in 25 goals a season I can't see how it would.

A fine cricketer with a good future ahead of him, it's a very brave move but also a very mature and strong one. Seems to have been handled well by the England staff and hopefully this will be a weight off the lad's shoulders and free him up to realise his potential (and bot men)
 
Can't understand all the fuss considering the SMB's very own Connolly_31 came out a couple of months ago and he's better than Davies (well at batting rather than botting).
