Howdy fellas!

Just to keep you all in the loop, but the last couple of weeks have been productive in terms of getting our first 2(!) definite games sorted for the new season!

We also have a reasonably high proportion of "possibles" that will be sorted in the next few weeks.

Anyway, the following are confirmed:

The Knights - Home - June 9th
Durham Uni - Home - July 28th

The following are possibles/should happens:

Durham Uni - Away - May 19th
The Knights - Away - TBA (said they'd host us)

Plus, the 2-over midweek league and the league I have been sorting out myself.

We also hope to have a Sunday friendly - longer game - against RWE systems but need to wait until the Houghton fixtures are out. This should happen though.
 

good job getting the Durham Uni game. Hopefully we don't have to play on the artificial pitch for the away game as the pitch at maiden castle is probably the best we will play on all season.

Is that the one up by houghall college?? i drive past that a fair bit, Groundsman is always on the square looking after it. If only we could get that at houghton :roll:

Know what you mean but given the way public spending is going at the minute I'll just settle for the standard of wickets we got last year. They were only really dodgy for the first few weeks, just a bit slow after that.

They get use of the proper pitch until early June time and then it's limited so that's why it's a (relatively) early game in the season. Any later and we would be on the artificial wicket.

23rd June - RWE Systems @ TBC
7th July - Brandon @ Brandon
14th July - The Knights @ Home
21st July - KJ Old Boys @ Bishop Auckland
**28th July - RWE Systems @ Home

The 2 with ** next to them will need re-arranging as already have confirmed games that day, but this is the way the fixutre list organiser thingy at work has sorted them.

Still, 8 more games.
