The Cheddar Story – feisty as ever, Katherine Hepburn must choose between her alcoholic ex-husband, her fiancé and a handsome journalist. Waterworks - A once successful businessman invests hundreds of millions in this spectacular flop. It has huge comedy value with Kevin Costner playing a leading role as Alan Shearer, the ex-player and local hero, who comes into take over the
ailing club and accelerates the downward spiral. Tears of sadness on Tyneside but tears of joy on Wearside. Costner, who had had huge success in JFK (Just For Keegan), The Untouchables (a Wise and Lambias production) and Dances With Wolves (the story of Wolves trading their championship place with NUFC) never reached the same acting heights again as he was a key figure in the production of this costly comedy. Strangely enough no team appointed Shearer as a manager either.

Not realising how strong the brew was, all of the tunnelers end up in a severely inebriated state, the tunnel goes way off course, and surfaces in the Bóbr river.
