Talking to a guy I do some business with yesterday, he is a WBA fan and he told me that as they are likely to be wearing their stylish new away strip a probable chant will be "theme from the Banana Splits" I just hope there are enough Mags old enough to get the joke. I also gave him the lyrics frm "Toon Doon" so am ready to listen on TV

Yep that theres hangin music where I come from. One listen to it and you feel like hangin yourself. And yes I did grow up in the seventies, and yes I do know the friggin words as well. God help me.
 
According to radio the Singapore based consortium have put a formal bid in.They are either extremely stupid or have put in an extremely stupid bid.At the minute that club can't be worth any more than 50-60m.
 
The skunks received 22.9 mill. in tv money in the premiership last season. I wonder how much they will get from the championship this season ?
