That's fair enough but they went big on Verbruggen when Rushworth wasn't ready. Last year he had a big injury hence why he didn't kick on and push for their number 1 spot.

Plenty of big clubs wanted to sign him permanently last summer but they didn't want to sell him.

It's a big fee, but he's English and reportedly close to a call up. It's a saleable asset if we go down.

I didn't even celebrate getting Europe League mate as we might get relegated in 13 years. :lol:

Got promoted last week at work but wasn't even worth celebrating or being bothered about as I might just lose my job next year.

I couldn't believe the difference in quality from the last time we were in the league. Even Wolves had Brazil internationals in their midfield and they were awful!

He has been Dutch number 1 since he moved to Brighton. Rushworth wasn't going to get a look in, especially after he was injured last year.
