After an afternoon of watching cricket, talking utter bollix and quaffing 150 pints . . .

The supper, of an utterly charming, suave & sophisticated, hard working, smartly dressed, fun loving, sexy, young at heart, mature man around town, respectable, upstanding pillar of the community, international jetsetter, part time playboy, & eligible bachelor.

All day down Redcar Town FC for a football tournament. Bairns won the silver cup 🏆 and then out for a few beers 🍻

Go the bairns. Nowt like winning for a confidence boost.

I am travelling back from Nottingham to Glasgow this afternoon. Usually use the A66 but have been advised to go another way cos Appleby horse fair on.

I remember as a kid, back in the late 1960's, early 1970's Mucky Mary's used to be half way up Alma Street, and the Golden Star Chinese takeaway, which came along a few years later, in the early 70's. was in the same street, but further up, opposite Crowthers Corner, second hand goods shop.

MM's used to be a Chinese run fish & chips shop back then, serving canny portions of fish & chips, in yellow or brown coloured paper wrapping.

Happy days. 😊

Had the odd chinese from collingwood road during drunken walks from town.

Iirc tho they seem to just open when they fancy!
