The Rolling Stones

Probably the greatest band of all time. With Jagger as the greatest front man.
Jagger obviously enjoys what he does or he wouldn't have gone on well into old age. I doubt he needed the money.

Two awful examples of their work followed by one of their best from the OP. Obviously a Beatles fan trying to denigrate the Stones to a potential younger audience.
Late 60s-Early 70s albums and 60s singles are obviously their finest hours. Since the late 70s they’ve probably released a couple of hours of stuff in total that gets anywhere near the prime years.

One of the very very best. Yet almost panto/cringe live (Jagger in the main). He was great in the early days mind then it all went a bit camp with the prancing about.

You can’t always get what you want
Gimme Shelter
Two very different but fantastic songs
At the time 60’s and 70’s … the dogs whatnots
Watching them now it is bit cringeworthy
He has no rhythm in his movements
His voice is shot now
But.. you have to hand it to them, they remain in the top 5 or so greatest music acts ever

I havent heard much of their new album.but it's reckoned to be their best for a while.
Here's the new single, I suppose it does support some of the comments made about Mick.

The new album isn't due until 10th July.

A couple of months back they released a very limited edition 12" single - Rough and Twisted - under their pseudonym of The Cockroaches.

Get fucked

hand of fate and one hit are quality.

Never was into them as a kid but a bloke at work gave me a cassette in the early 90's of 'Hot Rocks', listen to them most days now and defo favourite band, hopefully see them live next year, won't be the same as the earlier concerts but they still have it 👍
