And still needed Lewis to have poor reliability to win it !

Problem is for Nico he’s crediting himself and his 3 very minimal gains as the reason he won when everyone knows it was really Lewis’ engine blow up in Malaysia

Got to be honest, I was a bit underwhelmed with KA last season. I knew he was mega young but he never struck me as someone who could deliver what he has done so far this season. I thought he’d be in Russell’s pocket 🤷‍♂️

I liked when he got feisty on the radio in Canada.

Reminded me of when Vettel started and everyone was like “oh he’s so sweet & lovely, not like the others” but the greats can always get their claws out when needed.

Aye I thought around Zandvoort time last year that it was starting to look as though Mercedes had moved him up too early. Clearly gained more confidence in the final third of last season but like you I didn't think he'd be this good this quickly.
 
I can absolutely see Verstappen winning this. The Mercedes has been rubbish off the line all year and Max will absolutely push his nose into the first corner knowing Kimi has a lot more to lose.

Hoping they take each other out and Hamilton leads the next 78 laps.

If I was a betting man I would bet that Max is in the lead going up the hill from San Devote.

Max is ruthless, Kimi is just a bairn and like the rest of the field he is intimidated by Max’s reputation.

I reckon the finishing order will be:

P1 Max
P2 Kimi
P3 Charles

I hope I’m wrong as I want Lewis to win but I just can’t see it happening.

Add to the mix how poor the Merc has been off the grid then Lewis could well get ahead if there’s room.
No doubt it’ll be the only mildly exciting bit of the race

I think out of turn 1 it is more likely to be Max, Charles, Kimi, Lewis. If Kimi gets another slow start he will block Lewis off because it is so narrow
