How about Beach Boys Kokomo?

Besiktas, Juventus, ooh he’s gonna take us
To Zelina, Karvina, playing in Sofia
Tromso, or Vigo, baby why don’t we go?

Off with Regis Le Bris,
There’s a place called Trabzonspor
That’s where we wanna go
To play Europa football

Mackems in Milan
Watching the Lads in a foreign land
We’ll be taking over
All of Europe with the Sunderland
Down at Celta Vigo

Didn't have him as a surfer and I wish he would repeating that about the fans who told him we don't care about relegation aslong as we beat the Mags!
The article talks about him going back to france to spend time with his family........ those on here who claim to have met his wife walking the dog or in the shop seem a bit stupid now :lol::lol:

He’s been our manager for 2 years and I know next to nothing about him personally.

I know a few things, know where he lives, loves his dog (Lorient fans tried to poison it), someone I know walks it sometimes as he trusts them.

Fascinating stuff, Sean Connery to play me in the fillum 😉

Either way, what a bloody appointment he’s been, as with everyone you doubt and get frustrated but Christ alive he’s been above anyone’s expectations.

Anyone who would rather get relegated as long as we beat the mags is very strange

I dont think it was rather.

At the start of the season most people expected we'd be around the relegation places and realistically might have gone down.

It reads like 'we can accept being relegated and still support you but please dont lose to them'

You’d be surprised how many on here think the exact same
Plenty would take relegation if we won Carabao cup
Baffling mentality

Im one of those people. Id definitely have taken winning a cup and being relegated last year. The only trophy ive ever seen us win was the league trophy

Try reading it and get that chip off your shoulder, if it was a leftwing paper would you read it?
It's actually surprising to learn about the number of journalists who have worked and written on both newspapers.

Regis is well aware of the challenges Europe will throw up. He mentions the statistic that playing there costs an average of 10 points to a Premiership side. At our current level, that would put us on 44 points, just enough for survival.
Therefore we need to improve our level considerably in order to feel comfortable next season. He says we need reinforcement in about 4 key positions.

A good article that can be enjoyed by both wokies and anti-wokies.
