Ahem… Rashford anyone?

Surely your mob should be in for players like Ahem Rashford
On £400k a week, I doubt it.
If Man United will subsidise it then yeah. Don't see him coming up North, to a team not in European competition.
Unless we sell Barnes I also see little point in signing players in that position. Funds will be limited. Need to focus on CB & Keeper in my opinion*.
* Deliberately ignored the need for a striker as I see little chance of having the level of funding needed to signing a guaranteed upgrade on Osula and Wissa (who surely isn’t as bad as we saw last season).

He won't be asking for, nor getting, 400k a week in the PL. Closer to 250k I would think with SCR rules coming into play.

Or…. He stays at Man United, on £400k a week, and allows his contract to run down.
Whilst I would suggest he isn’t worried about his next mortgage payment, He may well be money driven. He may also feel aggrieved at his treatment and think ‘fuck it’.
Back to Villa perhaps. Champions League football and close to home.

The first club I think of when discussing Rashford is Newcastle. Would imagine he is somewhere on their list with Gordon gone.

They will not fancy paying his wage demands though and will explore other options first.

But I could definitely see him there.

Good player, would suit our style, like his politics, think hes going to have a great world cup.

Unfortunately, we cant afford his wages. Presume that is why Barcelona have signed Princess Diana instead.

Doubt he will leave Man U while he is still in contract and on mega money. Might be loaned out again but even then his choices are very limited due to his wages.

I haven’t read anything negative about his character? Or have I missed something.

I do remember him shaming the tories over school meals mind.

Barca have gone for Gordon’s high press. To be fair to the ex mag, he’s one of the best out there at it. Rashford brings other qualities but at his astronomical wage he’s simply not affordable to most now.

Hopefully the lad sees sense and takes a lower deal somewhere to get playing football. He’s bloody brilliant when he’s on form

He'll be wanting a Champions League Club 🤔
So it's another loan stay at Barça or (an unlikely) return to United or Villa?
I think he'll stay at Barça or move to a so far, unmentioned Champions League Club.
