Mundle wanted by Toulouse

The lad was really hampered by injuries last season so he didn't get a real chance to step up in the premier league. I still think he would develop into a good player given a injury free season...

The home grown quote will prove to be a problem this season imo. We have very few as it is, and some of them (like Mundle, Cirkin) are nowhere near good enough. I can see us having to spend big on a few English players. We'd ideally want the biggest squad we can for EL as well, which means we need to name 4 players from our own academy (Rigg will be 1, but no idea who else).

We will name Ballard, O'Nien, Moore so we will need one more. My understanding is that you could list Rigg for this even though he doesn't need to be listed due to his age

We don't need to name 4 club grown players but if we don't we lose those slots. So if we didn't name any, we would have a squad of 21 which would probably be just about enough

I don't think the rule is exclusively there to force you to register homegrown players, it strikes me as also a way to stop teams just registering a total squad of hoovered up talent from around the globe. Those 4 club grown players limit the number of signings you can make, as much as encourage you to use your own players, because for a lot of teams those club grown players will be the u21 as well

(Cirkin has announced he's off by the way)

It would make sense to register 4 players if we can though you'd think. Even if it means taking some lads for the experience, especially with the amount of slots on the bench you can name

Sorry I mean given that U21s don't need to be registered, we don't need to name Rigg, one of the Jones lads or Geragusian or whoever if we want to stick them on the bench

23 and has managed only 43 career appearances. Issue with his hamstring seems to be a real concern. Decent offer then sell, as we have options for that wing and really we need significant improvement for the wings this season

Significant improvements on the wing will cost an absolute fortune. Do you have any players in mind?

Not my job as a scout obviously. But the wings are certainly one area that really needs improvement this season. More so than any other position imo and mundle isnt it. We have enough options of similar output for the LW

I like Mundle, but I think he’s struggled with injury & form given his season was so inconsistent.

We have outgrown him as a club but wish him all the best. He was brilliant for us in the Championship when fit.
