What I'm saying is that until the point we have those players in, it's bonkers to sell the Homegrown contingent we already have.

It is obviously mere speculation. I mean….”He does not intend to extend his contract with the Black Cats”….
That’ll be the contract that (even in their own words) runs until 2028. How the fuck do they know this so far down the line?

Don't see why they need to arrive before sales - the club clearly know what they're doing.

They will have a list of targets and who knows, based on selling first may allow us to move up that list to better targets as we have more funds available.

It would be but I don’t think I’ve ever been more confident about the behind the scenes recruitment wise. I’m sure they know what boxes need to be ticked etc, for the lad himself too a bit like cirkin he probably could’ve stayed and made up the numbers he will hopefully be way down the pecking order come the end of the window he needs to move on for himself.
 
Reminds me of speaking to a few Scottish lads in 1998 about the world cup. I couldn't remember where they were playing and they replied 'Toulouse', I said yes I expect you will but where in France?

It would be a good move for Mundle. Our progress has accelerated past his unfortunately. I'd have no problem with him staying though.
