University student stabbed

No it’s not. It’s a fantastic country.

Free healthcare, safety net if your out of work, free education, low crime, low infant death, low unemployment, functioning infrastructure, democracy, independent judiciary, free legal aid, free media, life expectancy.

The environment you think is broken is the envy of 85-90% of the world.

You’ve just never experienced the vast majority of planets reality of existence.
We’re a highly developed western nation and have been leading from the front for hundreds of years. We are now thoroughly in decline and in such a short period of time that many people can clearly see it.

Healthcare = poor
Education = poor
Standard of living = seriously on the wane and already shit for millions of people
Income = stagnant and considering there’s a well documented ‘cost of living crisis’, poor
Social cohesion = dogshit
Infrastructure = dogshit
Development = poor
Crime and punishment = dogshit

If we were a school report card, the teacher would be recommending we were put into special measures and the parent had us ‘tested’.

We’re f***ing laughing stock.

And the reason people have allowed it to happen is because they're too busy with unrelated issues like this lads murder or immigrants.

maybe I don’t understand “two tier policing” or this story but as far as I am aware the person who actually murdered the poor lad is currently serving 21 years at his majesty’s pleasure, which would suggest he has been arrested by the police, charged by the police and found guilty by a jury of his peers. He literally has not got away with murder.

The incident that lead to the death of this lad is a tragic one and I suspect it is due to a lack of experience in front line policing and more complex than any of us understand who aren’t experts in the field of policing. Let’s not forget, it is probably not the first time these officers have attended a violent incident that week or even that day and probably don’t have the support within the police force to deal with managing traumatic events, which as all evidence suggests, if you don’t deal with traumatic trauma you ability to deal with stress diminishes in the multiples.

As for 5 million pound Farage, the lads dad asked for his son’s crime not to be used to stoke division and he has explicitly and purposely ignored that request for his own gain, mind you, why are we surprised by that as everything Farage does is for his own gain. Look, I would never voted for Farage and his gang of imbeciles so aslong as I have a hole in my backside, but, the behaviour he has shown over this and the Southport incident should not be allowed or tolerated by elected members of parliament. Tommy 10 names can do as he pleases, he is a grifter and frankly if you listen to him you need to find a hobby, but not elected representatives.

Hold up, I can’t keep up. Isn’t the rule that celebrities, musicians, actors etc, shouldn’t comment on politics and need to stay in their own lane? Why is the former banjo player of band living off daddy’s money different?

Who is it like

My mother would have handed me straight in. More likely to stab me with the knife I gave her than hide tbh.

Absolute scum bag. Whole family seem like the dregs of society tbh.
Yup, was talking to the bairn about it a little yesterday. I told him if hypothetically he ever hurt someone badly I'd be grassing him up to the police, he said he'd do the same if it was me (and I wouldn't expect it any other way).

What do you think should happen to address these issues?

Supporting an anti racist movement is "stirring up hate" now is it ? :lol: :lol:

Oh my favourite conspiracy theory about all that BLM was it was a communist movement which just so happened to be supported by multi billion pound companies. The Premier League for instance, that famous product of Marxism.

succinct

😂😂😂😂

This idea that police are actively told not to believe white people or white people can’t be stabbed is bizarre. Given how many police officers are trained do you not think this would have come out by now?

Also, “but we have to check” tells me (as someone who has investigated serious incidents in a public body), that someone was following the training (not the made up training you and Hannah think happens) and for whatever reasons the officer in charge didn’t follow, listen, hear, who knows.

So what, Farage isn't in power either.
Starmer used it to gather support and stir up hate and division for his own political advantage
Calling for equality and social justice only stirs up hate to those who hate that idea. 🫵

Drawing a false equivalent between the historic and continued suffering of black societies in America and the west, versus isolated cases like this, in which the judge has said is nothing to do with race, is classic, knowing racism. The white mans burden.

You’ve no doubt never had to deal with discrimination, but because of the judgement of one police officer, take to a movement against systemic racism and persecution of white people - look around at your own life, it’s a bullshit movement and you know it.

And what of pro-white policies of Farage anyway? They’ve already threatened white voters with displacement camps in their garden if they don’t vote for Reform, they don’t have a single “pro” policy on anything that will change your life for the better, all they have is anti immigrant, anti boat, anti labour, anti green, anti trans, anti Europe, anti left, anti Tory, anti regulation, anti union …they’ve nothing but anti policy but you’ll vote for them because if you can hate & punish just some of those, you’re happy to let reform do whatever they want. Who cares if it’s ll a grift to make millions out of your cold hard pathetic rage.
