Tammy Abraham?

£21m is canny cheap for a homegrown qualified striker, who has played for England. I think we would prefer to keep Mayenda as hes double qualified (homegrown and homegrown club) but he would improve our squad. Lot of games next year.

If lad is smart he'll go and get in ahead of those donkeys at Everton, but id be happy to spend that sort of fee on him.

Didn’t he get two assists for us? Already integrated into the squad.

No. That was Sancho.

I also don't think Tammy is for sale so not sure where the link has come from. If he does leave it will be to a club where he will start every game. He isn't going to leave a Chanpions League bench to not start.
Decent 3rd choice for us.

Tammy isn't going to go from 2nd choice at Villa to 3rd choice at Sunderland.

Sadly delusion has entered the fray for SOME fans after our welcome but unexpected successful first season back.
Many of those that pilloried BB after his first couple of games now believe he is love child of Drogba and Brazil Ronaldo.
TA is a very good striker IMO
Big unit with good pace and technique

Yeah, slightly tongue in cheek on my part, but the point stands that I wouldn't bring in Tammy Abraham as a nailed on starter and upset the two strikers we have that are really starting to get going in the PL.

Yep thats fair. I honestly dont see us selling anyway. We have other areas of the pitch (wingers, CB) that need working on and the last thing we need is to now have to find a back up striker when we already have one who is competent and happy to be understudy to Ollie.

Can't see him going anywhere.

This time last year I'd absolutely have said yes, but not now. He won't start ahead of Brobbey and I'd rather keep Isidor in all honesty considering what he'd cost on fee and astronomical wages.

Also, he has 2 goals for Villa after signing for £20m. You'll never guess who 1 of them came against?:lol:
I remember the commentary absolutely loving his goal against us, but it was a fairly simple finish I thought.

The delivery of the cross is what made that goal. That and the poor defending.

No thanks, not for me.
I’d rather we signed Promise David from Belgium if he is over last season injury.

Definitely one I like the look of too and a player I flagged up some time ago.

He's a similar profile to Thiago at Brentford who came from that division, and there's quite a few examples of players coming from Belgium who have hit the ground running recently including our very own Sadiki (who also played for USG).

Interesting to see how things develop for him as it seems he's rushed himself back from the serious injury for the World Cup.
