He's nearly 31, plays in a position we'll definitely be signing a new player for, and he made 9 starts and 3 sub apps in the whole of last season. Once he got upto speed he was decent for a handful of games.

But we need better, and if we're signing a 1st choice in his position, I'd rather be giving the sub/rotation minutes to the likes of Rigg, Ta Bi, Hume, Diarra than a rarely-fit 31 year old.

You'd think players like Jenson, Timur, johnson and Trey will want 1st team experience so can them going out on loan.
That leaves 4 x 2nd year pros, 9 x 1st year pros and the 18s making up the 21s group by the looks of it.
Definitely looks like a lot of players leaving doesnt it
