It’s just odd given they didn’t trust him in Australia at all. By all means don’t rule him out forever; but let him develop first

Rehan at least offers something with the bat to fall back on
 
Amazing we persisted with Bashir and his underwhelming bowling for two years specifically because the coaching staff thought he would be good in Australia.

They then don’t trust him to bowl a single ball down under and bring him back at the first opportunity after a decent, but not stand out start to life in division 2.

Just unbelievable, isn’t it?
 
We dont seem to be able to produce good spinners now. I can't remember any very good ones since Tuffnell (dont say Panesar).

I thought Rehan was going to be that player but he seems to concentrate more on batting now. His brother was supposed to be even better but I have to admit I haven't followed his progress lately.

Bashir and Hartley are terrible. Leach was OK but he's had his problems.

Lack of turning wickets in the county championship doesn't exactly help either.
