Kondogbia

According to Media Foot, Sunderland are offering Geoffrey Kondogbia a salary of €110,000 per week if he agrees to sign. That's more than he earned at Marseille, where he was making just over €100,000 per week. At Marseille, no one will oppose his departure. Quite the opposite, in fact

I’d be very surprised at that like

He was certainly rated by de Zerbi while he was manager there. New manager/coach doesnt like him or they’re having a spring clean
If it is true who is to be dropped or will he be a finisher and stand in for Xhaka or Sadiki

Perfectly plausible we are in for him and he won’t be on cheap wages. Regardless of what Marseille fans think of him he is high profile and a year younger then Xhaka was last year when we offered him a good deal.

We have signed a lot of younger players to develop but also haven’t been against bringing in older experience as well so I think it’s likely the link is correct

Given we'll have two games a week quite often, I'd imagine it's a rotation approach if all are fit, mainly for Xhaka but arguably Sadiki too if needed. And cover for injuries which are always more likely for players in their 30s. Can play CB too apparently.
