He had a medical issue which was also picked up by Fenerbache who also pulled out of a deal for him a few weeks later.
The club did the decent thing and kept their mouth shut rather than announcing it to the world.

Was told at the time. We never said owt about it as we were dealing with his agent on another deal I believe.
It’s a shame as he had a good season just gone.
