Could we finally get Charlie Cresswell this summer

I’m not his biggest fan but he’s been mostly excellent when called upon this season
Mostly, apart from his fuck up against Newcastle and Leeds and Villa. Mostly. Story of O'nien that. Regardless, he isn't good enough to progress us if we're developing a top half PL squad, and the club will know that.

Like the look of him
Like Cresswell, Brown has an impressive CV but all the people touting both have not seen them play I’d wager
I believe our pressing issue is a reliable back up LB ( RLB please note, no more round peg in square hole hybrids please ) and maybe Brown is that player, or maybe that Lucumi who continues to be linked
For me our best back 4
Gerty Mukiele Omar Reinildo
With backups
Hume Ballard O9 AN Other, and Nordi able to move to RB with ease

You think Lucumi is a left back? You’ve not seen him play I’d wager che

JL is a centre half and an erratic one if the two games I’ve seen him involved in are par for the course.

Apart from Xhaka, I’d wager nobody had seen most of this years signings play, either.

Based on his profile and clips, Brown looks ready for the PL and potentially great for what we need. Left sided, powerful and strong in both defence and attacking phases, right age, English academy etc etc.

I like the look of it, but the recruitment team I am sure are well aware of him and will do what they think is best and possible.

Exactly 15 mill or whatever they want is cheap for a English lb

Would be a good signing but for me our budget needs to go on the wings
We've already spent a fortune on wingers and have more wingers than out else. You cant just keep throwing money at the same position without getting rid of some of them. We've currently got Angulo, Adingra, Talbi, Ta Bi and Mundle with Traore a possibility. Thats 5 or 6 players going for 2 spots not to mention the fact that LeFee, Diarra and Rigg can also all play out wide and have done this last season.

Archie Brown would be perfect as lb cover/competition for Reinildo.

And the combination of Diarra and Rigg towards the end of the season looked our most attacking threat down the flanks all season and they not even wingers.

He’s a good option for use in cup competitions next season I think, including Europe.

We’re going to have to rotate the starting XI a lot to avoid crashing next season like Forest did.

He won't be near the 11 next season. We'll be getting in at least 1 more CB, if not 2 more. Club have made that stance pretty clear already.
Our best side is Muikele cb
Agreed with this too - he's better at CB than RB.
