That van has got to be one of the stupidest drivers going. There's a lambo swerving across lanes and crashing into the barriers - let me get right on his bumper and do nothing to avoid

Since when does money equate to happiness? We've seen time and time again money and fame destroy players.

We don't know what has gone on in his personal life, money doesn't prevent cancer or depression or anxiety or OCD.

It isn't. Marcus has a horrendous life threatening condition and is doing a sponsored walk.

Sterling's career is coming to a conclusion, he can't hack it despite making a fortune out of the game and drives down a motorway taking drugs.

And you're excusing his behaviour.

Not excusing it at all.

However I’m interested in your opinion. Ricky Hatton (and this is well documented) had a lot of substance issues despite making a fortune out of his own sport.

Why is the initial response to both of these so different for yourself?

Because one killed himself. The other risked killing innocent people.

Aye must admit I'm struggling with this one how so many people are staight away jumping on the mental health bandwagon.

Sterling has always come across as a bit of a bell so this sort of behaviour from him doesn't exactly suprise me to be honest.
 
It’s a tough one which is certainly splitting opinion

As someone who has recently gone through MH issues being off work for a significant amount of time, I can genuinely say it’s tough worrying about the now and the future.

I hit the bottle pretty hard but I can say for certain I never put myself in a situation where I’d be in a car intoxicated thus causing risk to other people, looking at the dashcam of his crash it’s pretty dam dangerous and lucky he hasn’t plowed into a family car etc.

I get it with his MH struggles and hope he gets help, but there’s absolutely no excuse and should be punished for his actions regarding the crash/intoxication
