Hartlepool United

I think the total so far may be the hardcore supporters who would go regardless of who is in charge or which player is brought in. There are
probably hundreds of fans who go regularly but are holding off on which players are brought in before committing to a season ticket. I bought mine last season after the deadline had passed but that was because of the uncertainty surrounding the previous owner.

Someone on another forum mentioned that filming was going on when he was down at the ground earlier today suggesting it may be new players being videotaped for the website, hope so.

Best thing I saw on the rec was a 22 man brawl plus coaching staff and subs on the pitch next to us once. Brought our game to a stop watching it.
Played for blackhall navy club so was always tension! 😂

Once a ref didnt turn up. A spectator offered to ref game n wed just call it a friendly. Within a minute of kick off he was getting abuse from everywhere ffs 😂

My sons actually played on those grounds but thought it was way more cricket set up than decent level footy.
They've had a fenced off area at the top where they have a pitch with dugouts for a while. They just installed a mini stand behind one of the goals and are currently installing changing rooms up there. I see it on a daily basis when I'm out walking my dog.

I think it was originally a cricket club then WHGSOB rugby club joined as well as the Heugh Bowmen they were there - think they are at Greatham now.
This was way back in the 1970s then slowly expanded as the Seaton Carew Sports and Social club... and football started a little later... and has recently been very successful.
