England's 1982 World Cup kit was a last minute rush job because the players lost so much sweat after the first game that the kit had to be remade in a lighter fabric in time for the next game.

England badges and Admiral logos were stitched on by volunteers who didn't get everything properly aligned as can be seen in one of the team photos.

Yeah it was superb that. All three England shirts from that tournament were Umbros finest too. Shame we never saw the red one v Germany
