Can't understand this play the second string in Europe attitude.

The likes of Brobbey, Mukiele, Reinildo etc have signed for us from European teams. They'll want European football more than anyone because its all they have ever known and truth be told I reckon this was their plan all along even if its came around quicker than expected.

If it was up to me I'd be keeping Cirkin, but I think he wants to move down back south again.

these are all experienced players from clubs with European pedigree.
They know how squad football works.
If we're playing against a provincial second division Moldovan team who qualified by pulling off a shock in their cup, and we have City on the Sunday, they will be on the bench.

Noah, Robin you have a choice to stay at SAFC on 40k per week or moving to eg Man Utd or Chelsea on 100k per week on a 5 year contract
I love SAFC dearly and rate both players but if they were my sons I know what I would be advising
Europa is good for the club but I doubt it has enough pull to lure players from offers at big clubs

I think you're underestimating the teams in the Europa League.
 
Players whose contracts are up this Summer are
Moore, Huggins, Cirkin, Neil, H.Jones and Traore.

Hard to see any of them being offered a new deal.

Of the others still under contract who are not wanted.

Masuaku, Alese, Browne, Ba and Rusyn have 1 year left, so even a season long loan somewhere would end their careers here.

More difficult to get rid of would be
Patterson, Pembele, Seelt, Hjelde, Aleksic, Mundle, Abdullahi and Semedo.

All of those still have 2 years left on their deals, while Adingra has 4 years left.

Some back out on loan whilst the ones we can sell will probably generate around 35/40m, which ain't too shabby.

Don't really see any big player sales now that we've hit the Europa league.
I think we can put that headache off for another season.
