Reidy season after the playoff going to games wondering how many we'd score is probably the best but no doubt this season is up there anarl.

I'd already googled the lass in your avatar a while back as she's the one who can swallow a hot dog in a second!

1973 without any doubt. What a run we had, beating three of the best teams of the day .
Queing overnight for tickets.Man City away and home, Arsenal Semi-final and finally Leeds Utd at Wembley.
I wasl ucky to attend these matches and can relive those fantastic memories.
I hope our current progress can continue to bring you the euphoria that will live with you for life.

and thhe opening of the SOL topped it

Best early memories would be crawling under the turnstiles to watch Alan Brown's rebuild after our first ever relegation. Not that I understood the magnitude of the catastrophe that had befallen us (The Football Echo changed colour after the shame of relegation) but by the early sixties we had one hell of a side and the cup games that followed (Against Spurs and Man Utd) the promotion winning games were immense. Unbelievable crowds and such noise you could barely draw breath. I was hooked.
