Ok, before "deluded world of...." get involved. This is a totally Hypothetical situation, spawned from a beer fuelled pub debate. I dont expect it will happen. And if it did it would not be under these rules

Imagine Liverpool offer Isak for loan. We had to cover all wages and (if fit) he has to feature in every match (even if subbed on off).

Would you take him?
 

No

There’s only a handful of players in the world that would be worthy of this kind of deal.

We’d never be able to get any of them, let alone on loan

The pre injury prone version…maybe
I doubt he will ever be as good again and they’ll never get anywhere near back the money they paid
They may have got their eyes taken out with Woltemade, Elanga and Wissa but at least à big portion of that was mitigated by Isak sale

He's one of the best strikers in the league so yes absolutely.

No. His salary would be astronomical for us, preventing us making other signings, and I wouldn’t want the obligation to always play him - even if he was going to anyway
