Old media, once upon a time clubs like ours were at the mercy of the main stream media’s (whose core audience now is older people with set views) negative bias towards SAFC but now the club can present its own narrative through social media to younger more open audiences who’s opinions haven’t been set yet.

I get all the content I want and more from the club, YouTubers like @10 Trenches Deep and more that’s why the bias on look north etc is so ridiculously on show because no one’s watching it anyway. It probably drives ratings MLFs tuning in to see how bad it is

Yes Sir. I actually stared doing stuff in League One precisely because there was nothing said or talked about in depth on us. Their ignorance has given rise to me and plenty others like Jam Sarney, Gliesey, MadMistake, Bowers, Bamber, Mackem Cabbie, Devon Mackem and I know others, but have lost the will to type them all.

Point is mainstream media blew their chance with us and new technology has allowed plenty of us to provide the sort of voice some of us want. They will catch up and some of us may be co-opted, but the reality is that it has now dawned on them that there is a huge audience they were not servicing and they are unable to get them back as it stands.

Power to the people I say. We have a great content base, varied and something for all of us.

He may be a wanker and wear a wanker’s hat, and a mag, but I doubt Shearer has any input on the Match of the Day social accounts. I’ve watched the podcast he does with Lineker and tbf to him he was full of praise for us, said we’ve been great all season, manager done an unbelievable job, recruitment was great and it was fully deserved.

The anti-mackem banter from Shearer guarantees them some cheap laughs every show. It's now become part of the culture of the programme unfortunately, quick jibe at us and then move on to the next.

Probably will stay the same until they mix up the pundits. Hopefully sooner rather than later, the Shearer/Rooney combo was painful viewing to roundoff the season.

It’s a lad called Joel who runs the BBC sport social accounts. I know him.

Massive Leeds fan.
