That's a huge figure and of course the number of those wounded and seriously injured far exceeds even that.

Putin had absolutely no idea what he was getting into when he invaded Ukraine. The thought that the Ukrainians could conduct a bombing campaign across Russia and render the Black Sea fleet ineffective was never considered as even a possibility. I don't think it has even yet occurred to Putin that the Ukrainians are never going to give up simply because they know through bitter experience what the Russians would do to them if they ever submitted to Moscow . The Russian way is always to liquidate among the vanquished anyone who did or might pose a future threat.

At the very least I would like to see NATO give more munitions and support to Ukraine everytime Russia play funny buggers. They are trying to spook people but anyone who knows the russian mo. This is a sign of weakness.

I would say they are fooling nobody that matters but the foc in the whitehouse is enthralled by them.

Imagine the current British state having the ability to pull the strings in a Russian war :). If we couldn't get the Whites in power in the 1920's
