Jadon Sancho

His performance against us sums up why we should stay clear.

Mental wages and has been absolutely shite for 5 years now bar a 6 month spell back at Dortmund in 2024.

That would be such an uninspiring lazy signing.
The plan should be to sign cheap(ish) promising kids while being on the lookout for the availability of some top ones like Amad.

Because he's a dickhead

Always seems to have had too high an opinion of himself, there's footage of him blanking Foden when he came on for him and they were both kids. Engineered a move from City rather than sign his first professional contract cos they weren't guaranteeing him playing time when they had stellar talents on the wings, missed training around the same time.

Seemed to really suit the way Dortmund played, high press/hitting on the break. Moved to Man U, didn't really fit into them having a more patient build up (I think they signed players to play a certain way then signed Ronaldo and made it up as they went along). Ten Hag dropped him as he said he wasn't training properly.

None of that fits the character of the players we've bought in recently and could potentially cause a fair bit of distraction and disharmony for a player who's clearly talented but a long way from his best. I don't see the risk/reward balance being in the right place for us.

I fear he is a player whose personality would be disruptive, despite his obvious talents. I could be wrong.
That’s a good and fair post as our dressing room doesn’t seem the place for “ big time Charlie’s “
That’s why many have grown and excelled -especially players who have been with us a while like Riggy Luke big Dan Trai -there’s a togetherness
That’s why we are top of the league for points won from a losing position
As opposed to the visitors who are the opposite -lost most points when leading
Our dressing room allows players to thrive if they are committed and team focused
