You can have a team captain and a club captain, but you also need a club uncle. Not a dad, that's different.

Every club needs a training keeper. Man Utd still have a 41 year old Tom Heaton on the books for that reason. It's one of those roles that always seems to be taken by decent blokes!
 
What a cracking comment for him to hear amd it is players and staff like that, that go under the radar in team morale.you need people like that about. Great to hear hes doing his badges and hopefully stays on after just like Luke.

Remember luke saying he has a Simon Moore shirt in his locker to remind him about these kind of things. Credit to the bloke 👏

I don’t think we can underestimate people like him & Hjelde.

They’re obviously not prem quality, but are very popular amongst the group. Not saying we should be offering them contracts for life or anything but they should still be held in high regard from fans.
 
Been doing them since we signed him. He'll become a keeper coach I am quite sure.

He managed to sort extra tickets for my family when my lad was mascot earlier in season, will always be eternally thankful to him for that
