Man City 115 charges.

Last season (not the one just gone last week) I had £10 (which was the max I could put on by the bookies) that city would be relegated and was given 18-1. It’s been like that for some time now

Well if the league is gonna act now its as good a time as any now pep has left.

I could see them taking a points deduction and transfer embargo quite meekly...after this transfer window no doubt, as they've been loading up the squad for future proofing themselves for a season or two now.

We all know at worst its gonna be enough points so they don't get Europe but not enough to see em relegated in what looks the weakest league for a few years, which is a pisstake.
And any fine ain't gonna bother them whatsoever, be like sting getting his chequebook out in quadraphenia

Can anyone explain to me why every Mug on social media keeps referring to the 115 charges

What difference does it make to them?

How were they affected by City's alleged transgressions in any way?

Is it that they think that they will be able to sign a squad of galacticos as soon as City are found guilty

They'll end up just paying a fine!
Yep. I can't believe anyone thinks that they will actually be properly punished. They aren't just part of the corrupt system they ARE the corrupt system. If they ever do get found guilty and that in itself is a big IF, then they will appeal and drag it on and on and on. For that reason, an agreed fine amount will be paid and maybe a short transfer ban. Hence giving them all this time to stock their squad before any such ban would come into effect.

Any talk of relegation and trophies taken off them is pure fantasy.

Watch them spend another 300 million over the next few months on their way to yet more trophies.

I’ve posted this a number of times before, but this is the first in a series of articles that explains it all

IIRC der Spiegel were the organisation that broke the story
They did, based on emails obtained (illegally) by Footballs Leaks behind which was a Portuguese guy who got some very confidential info, not just about Man City. He was subsequently prosecuted iirc. Not editorialising, just posting facts

My suspicion is that one of the City arguments will be that the documents were obtained illegally and should be disregarded . Not much of an argument when they are already in the public domain

Brown envelopes full of cash come sign for me haaland. Open that in private won't you. Cheating by financial irregulations. Makes what el tel and George Graham was doing look above aboard. I.e not disclosing money they have actually spent to avoid the former ffp and psr.

Note it's scr from this season, meaning that kind of thing wouldn't affect finances from June 1sr this year.

Yeah I get all of that but I don't get why the Mags are bleating on about it
Surely if City are found guilty it won't make a jot of difference to them as it appears that the Saudis have no interest in spunking money on them
