I think it was 6 shots 5 goals the knarsIt was a weird anomaly where everything they hit went in. We didn’t play well but their conversion rate was freakish. It wasn’t even close to being the thrashing it appeared but the record will say it was.
And then on the day, it was so ridiculous how EVERYTHING just went our way. I mean, everything. Even down to the mags losing. Man Utd 2-0 up in no time to make our game the only one we had to concentrate on. And then for us to go 2-0 up with loads of time left. Shame Cole palmer made us sweat a tiny bit, but apart from that it was just the perfect day. That made it even better I think, no one deep down thought we'd do it, not with Man Utd, Everton and Chelsea coming
Dont get me wrong… world leaders like the current POTUS ( surrounded by Ivy League alumni ) forget about skirmishes/wars in the not to distant past and repeat same mistakes and go on same insane ego trips, so …
50/50 chance your assertion would have come to fruition
I remember the pre match warm up and their finishing was terrible, even commented on it saying they’ll never score shooting like that.It was a weird anomaly where everything they hit went in. We didn’t play well but their conversion rate was freakish. It wasn’t even close to being the thrashing it appeared but the record will say it was.
I hope you’re right. 48 certainties though.60 games but no AFCON in the middle this coming season.
also, I doubt we'll ever get to experience it, but I can imagine Sunday was akin to how it might feel to win a title decider on the final day. Looking at the score in your rival's game while watching your own team do the business to get over the line. Perhaps Sunday is as close a day we'll ever get to that feeling, it certainly felt mighty fine. That made it even better I think, no one deep down thought we'd do it, not with Man Utd, Everton and Chelsea coming
Totally agree there mate . I think they had 6 shots and 5 went in . A Totally weird game .It was a weird anomaly where everything they hit went in. We didn’t play well but their conversion rate was freakish. It wasn’t even close to being the thrashing it appeared but the record will say it was.
No losing streaks under RLB is THE main difference I’ve noted as an exile who doesn’t get to as many games as I’d like. This SAFC like to keep the scoreboards clicking…..I was over it the day after to be honest, such was the season we’d already had to that point and the faith I had that we would bounce back as we’ve proved that we could bounce back after every other bad result this season.
You certainly would say so but it’s a race to the bottom he and his sort are winning sadlyI think we can all aim higher than the current POTUS
Terrible set piece defending mostly. Sometimes you just need a kick up the arse and I think it was a wake up call to our team and it workedDo you think regis changed something in the forest game and it never came off, tweaked it for all those games after and success
Sorry like but they aren’t near a top 6 side. Theyre better than 16th but they aren’t a top 6 side and there’s plenty in this midfield scrap that are better than them.On paper forest are a top six side,.just had an absolutely horrendous season until eventually got the right manager. Wood being injured so long didn't help
