Reckon the lad’s harbouring any regrets of choosing to represent NI?

I’m sure he’d have been in with more than a shout of being in the World Cup squad if he hadn’t.

Thankfully though, he’s never going to have anything to play for any summer so we can wrap him in cotton wool (or in this case get surgery to sort out niggles) ready for the new season.

Even big DB didn’t know his career was on this trajectory.
 
When did he get injured? He got sent off for pulling hair.

We need all our players to make pre-season. Pre-season’s so important for preparation .

He was in their youth setup for a good few years, I think him getting international mens football at a young age will have really helped him kick on.

The way he's played this season he could have made the England squad.
 
i honestly think NI will qualify for the next Euros.
They are building a very healthy, competitive squad of young players right now.

Mate it was probably a ongoing issue that he had for the back end of the season
 
Hopefully he’ll be fully fit for preseason. Tin hat firmly on but imo if we persuaded Geertruida to stay I think our best back four is Reinildo, Alderete, Mukiele and Geertruida.

Ballard has been brilliant and is superb in the air but as out and out footballers I think our best defence is the four lads listed above.

Obviously we need a squad and I’d expect we bring in a couple of defenders this summer to add to the above along of course with having the ever dependable O’Nien to call upon.

No, he seems to really care about the NI team, and they love him. Same with Isidor turning out for Haiti, he seems to have got his confidence and smile back after turning out for them.
