Who are the younger lads in the baseball caps on the pitch seen with Diarra, Sadiki and Talbi?

We saw them coming into the car park in some done up Audi RS6 and got special treatment with the crowds stopped to access the stadium from the car park.

Are they famous or sommit?

I absolutely love this team. Fantastic spirit and energy on and off the pitch.

Was great seeing all family/friends of the players on the pitch, bet that meant a lot to the lads that they were all welcome.

Sure Hume is drinking a Madri when he comes out and a Rekorderlig by the time he gets round the pitch.

gonna watch on big tv after the palace game with a beer ,
remember was funny at the time watching tiny kids wandering around the pitch

Yep, he definitely had a lager when he first came out and a cider a little bit later on.

The other thing I noticed was how respectfully Xhaka was watching Luke make his speech in the dressing room. Some other more egotistical captains I can think of what have been straight up saying a few words themselves rather than letting Luke do it.

Yes, I appreciate that. My point was that Xhaka clearly respects him a lot and is very happy with him having his moment. There are many players that I can think of that would be stealing the limelight in those circumstances - especially given that Xhaka had probably never heard of Luke when he signed.

It was also noticeable that although KLD was on the pitch at the end of the game with his family and other board members, he kept out of the limelight as well. Even RLB seemed embarrassed to be asked to speak to the crowd.

These are people who have transformed the club. True leaders are people who transform their environments but let others take the plaudits. It seems like we have a few of those. It’s brilliant.

Family members.

I still cannot believe what’s happened here like. We were posting about Lee Johnson and bomb alley 5 years ago. We’re in the Europa league next season with Xhaka as captain. f***ing unbelievable, as Granit said.
