His fitness wasn't too bad because hes been available most of this season. Wrist bandage been a feature for months going back to Championship. Hopefully thats been sorted now he can kick on.

If you think that could happen. I've got some magic beans for sale ;)
I’d have said the same if, at 17:10 on the 24th May 2025, you’d told me that Granit Xhaka would captain us to 2 wins over the mags, a 7th place finish and Europa League qualification!

This club has me doubting reality these days! 😉
Good luck to the lad with what ever next step he takes. Played an important role in getting us to where we are, just a shame injuries prevented it being even more so.
Even more so if he’s actually aggravated injuries by playing through them / coming back too early when we needed him.

Signing a great player is completely different to keeping a cripple fit. You'll be saying huggings will play regularly next :)

Been a good player for us. He was one spoken of as having prem interest if we didn't go up.

That goal against Coventry was some shit pinger anarl

Wasn't he picked for England U21's winning European Championship squad last summer but had to pull out injured.
Probably have his pick of Championship clubs. Good lick to the lad played a big part in the resurrection.

Literally forgot all about him
Must be still on the books?

Seen Cirkin,Rigg,Wilson and Mundle wearing one same game.
Its a footy fanny fashion fad thats all.
Back to London you’d think?

Best of luck Dennis

Very likeable lad Dennis.

Not least cos he just wants to play footy. Left Spurs to join us in League One, seems its the same again - happy to move on for a regular game rather than bench and occasional cup game in PL.

Not sure if there is another thread, but I for one is sad he is leaving.
I always thought he was a class player and I thought he had a place in our Premier League side.

Could he not be an asset for us next season ?

Anyway, all the best. Will love to see you back here one day.

Yes there's a deeply moving thread about him here

Met him at the start of last season and offered good wishes for the coming season, came across as a very polite and slightly reserved young lad , the total opposite of some of the younger generation.

Wish him all the best for the future, he’s been on a hell of a ride here , hopefully he can use his time here as a springboard at another club if he continues to play .

I’ve got a feeling that he may drop out of football, I hope I’m proved wrong.

Very sad that Dennis has decided to look elsewhere but it is fully understandable and I wish him nothing but the best.

Clearly talented, he is brave, dedicated and seems to be a good human being, but for injury would I'm sure have been a significant part of our plans going forward.

Wherever he ends up I hope his injuries are behind him and he gets to where he deserves to be.

Good luck Dennis.
