Transfer team will be busy this summer

Talbi, Mayenda and Aleksic won't count towards our overseas slots in the PL next season as all born after 1 Jan 2005. Which helps a bit with the 17 overseas slots. We don't have to sell Aleksic unlike some of the other deadwood and could still be counted on if ever needed on the bench.

I'm still hoping Mayenda would count as homegrown for the PL and club trained for the EL. As if he does we've got to try convince him to stay as he'll be worth his weight in gold.

Hopefully, we can get most of our business done early. It's not like we need another overhaul of the squad.

3/4 players of real quality, and a few talented young lads to progress would be ideal.

We still have Roefs, Elborg, Hume, Reinildo Mukiele, Alderete, Xhaka, Le Fee, Diarra, Sadiki, Angulo, Brobbey and Isidor that we’ll no doubt want to keep. That would leave a maximum of four slots. Given we may keep Geertruida it’s only 3.
I think that rules out squad places for anyone that’s a senior overseas player that’s been out on loan and probably Traore too.
We’ll be looking very closely at homegrown players that currently play overseas I would imagine.

The incredible progress we have made over the past 2 seasons has unfortunately (for their sake) made half the squad redundant.

Both Mundle and Angulo have been shite this season, but write them off at your peril. Got high hopes for both. Both need to get used to the Prem, Mundle needs a season of being fit.

Angulo had a strong start away at Leeds suffered an injury but he was awful away at Everton and was poor again on Sunday.

Too early to right him off but needs to show a lot more. Still think of all the wingers we have Talbi will end up as the best had some very good moments this season.
Am not Talbi’s biggest fan but of his 4 goals 3 were away against Chelsea, Liverpool and the Mags. Impressive but he needs to score a few at the SOL next season.
