The pain, it's agony

Shows their small time mentality going on about how many games they have played rather than trophy’s won (and that fairs invite cup doesn’t count like winning a pre season trophy)
It’s why actual successful clubs always laugh when they try to put themselves in there with them. They’ve won one third rate trophy in 70 years and try to put themselves on the level of Liverpool and Man Utd etc. when the rubber hits the road they’ve won a tin pot cup the clubs they try to put themselves against play third string sides in.

The jawdeeeee nashun stuff properly blew smoke up their arses, I do wonder if the people from Newcastle were like this before hall. They’ve always looked down on Sunderland even though our worst areas look like beauty spots compared to their worst parts of that city and if the shoe was on the other foot and we’d had the money poured into the city since Tyne and Wear scam our city Centre would be just the same. They are a strange bunch trying to claim half the north east when things like angel of the north, the metro centre, Baltic ain’t even in f***ing Newcastle. Remember when Durham cricket was doing well they tried to lay claim to that even though it’s in a whole other county.

I'm still howling at that article f***ing tremendous levels of bitterness 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Joe dixon take a bow son 🤣🤣🤣 we've destroyed him 🤣🤣🤣

They weren't.

An old mate from Newcastle, who supported them from the 70s, stopped going in the 90s as he was sick of all the onboarding arseholes.

The Gallowgate in the 80s was full of the same kind of ascerbic wit that the Fulwell or Roker had in spades.

Now I know this is a dream scenario next season but imagine if we won the Europa League final in only our second ever European competition. I mean the meltdown would be of epic propositions 🤣🤣

“For Newcastle United, simply a case of taking care of our own business. Ensuring that 2027/28 will see United building further on their 152 European match record.”

The irony in that btw  after writing an article clearly aimed at us  it’s gold just now it really is 🙌👏
