Because it made me happy that at the age of 54 I had seen us do one of the two things I wanted us to do (the other one being win a trophy) for the first time in my life, and I was there with my two sons, and the atmosphere was class, pure joy, one of the best days I've ever had supporting SAFC. I will never forget it as long as I live.
But then I got home to discover that instead of just being collectively happy along with all fellow SAFC fans and getting the metaphorical cigars out, some people preferred to use that moment to start threads on the internet about why they 'couldn't celebrate' it, apparently to try and goad / take the piss out of other SAFC fans who may have ever questioned the club. And that made me a bit confused.
And then a couple of days after that, people started doing the same thing but were no longer able to distinguish between could and couldn't in the thread title, and I haven't got a clue what is going on any more.
So I just decided to be happy about it.
