We are getting a new sponsorVertu?
(I know the point is the design not the sponsor but that's just a stab in the dark, isn't it? Or we getting a new sponsor next season?)

Last seasons 3rdWe didn’t use the letters in either our 1937 kit or this season’s 3rd.
Your right on that one and thanks as ive just found this great website17/18 both had sky blue away kits
That looks like a polo top!Why does AI always mess up our badge to make it look like a blindfolded child's drawn it? There must be thousands of pics of it online, it can't be that hard to just go, "Just use this image as it is i.e. don't turn the cats into deformed otters and penshaw monumemt into ganesha"
Just after elvis's death so late seventies!Probably SEB but on the theme of the Elvis kit, when did we first start singing Wise Men Say?
I remember 95/96 promotion parade it was sung, but how far back does it go?
That's a bit harsh on The Empire. They were taking photos in a warehouse in Sunderland today
I remember the UB40 version being played at Roker Park, whenever it was in the charts.Probably SEB but on the theme of the Elvis kit, when did we first start singing Wise Men Say?

definitely agree. Like it was made of horsehair, dipped in old vaux slops then rolled in shotblast grit. Lovely looking shirt, joggers nipple when you wore it for more than 50 paces thoughLovely kit agreed, the material was a disgrace mindcouldn't wear it without a tshirt underneath.

As top north eastern team, we should get first choice!Isnt it rumoured that the skunks are having a pink away kit ?I doubt we would have the same base colour as them in the same season.
I remember it being sung at games for years before that. Joe Hart asked how long ‘Can’t help falling in love with you…’ has been associated with SAFC on last night’s Monday Night Club on 5 Live because he said he couldn’t remember it from games he’d played at the Stadium of Light. Regrettably, Paddy of Roker Report suggested it was a recent thing. Not meaning to hang Paddy out to dry as he could have been answering the question, ‘How long has this been part of what the club promotes on matchdays’, I guess - but I think this was just another example of KLD catching up on where supporters had been for years anyway?Probably SEB but on the theme of the Elvis kit, when did we first start singing Wise Men Say?

The Wetherspoons plate.
there's something about Brobbey beating the fuck out of defenders in a pink kit i find mildly amusing
The yellow spots might just be a blobatious step to far!

Rob Mason in one of this seasons or last seasons programmes said it was sung at an away game just after Elvis died(which was 1977).
Can’t remember what game it was off the top of my head.
I was only young in the 1980’s so cant really remember it being sung as much as it is now but that might be just my memory. Does anyone know if we sang it as much in the late 80’s and 90s?
