That’s my take on it, would be unprofessional and when it’s the likes of Luke doing it makes me think they know something or he’s told them he wants to stay. He maybe telling them one thing and he knows another that wouldn’t be a surprise or the first time a player was telling team mates porkie. It does feel a bit too public from the likes of Luke mind.

Just feels a bit too public, I could understand some of the new lads posting it but luke doesn’t seem the type to post something so public like that unless he’s told them he wants to stay. Could be porkies and he’s already packed his bags 🤣

Maybes with Europe being confirmed the club have thought the deal makes more sense. We’re gonna need a bit more depth in the squad, signing the lad for around £20m seems a no brainer given the amount of positions the lad covers.
 
100% the club decided to use the option and the ball is in his court. No way the whole squad would just decide to put pressure on the club like that publicly.
I'm sure it's up to him now and they want to convince him to sign the contract.
 
I’m sure most players can handle competition for spots
Issue for Gerty is that if Ballard is fit he is 3rd choice RB and 5th choice CB ( in RLB eyes )
As a DM again à lot of dominoes have to fall before he gets any minutes
I can understand he would accept Nordi is a better RB but no one else after that is better suited than Gerty
It must be quite disheartening and something that would push him out the door
Then there is the wages he could get
If you are going to be bench fodder you may as well milk it
 
just caught a little snippet of the club video and he's in a very deep conversation with Flo on the pitch having a hug.
I'm pretty sure this one is done and dusted.
 
I think they may have been a bit off with wages. Possibly on the pitch he was asked to rethink offer as I cant see club making him highest earner, and he would have been near that because there was no fee involved. Hopefully there's a middle ground .
