On the same front: Hume is the only one to have played all 38 games, and most fans probably wouldn’t have had him in their strongest team until the 38th of them.

Mukiele is our best right sided centre back, Gerty is the best right back in the entire universe. Mukiele is 2nd best right back. Ballards excellent season muddied the waters I think
If he wants to be here, we have to sign him, simple as that.

Like others got a sneaky feeling he's signing. No way would the players be commenting all the signing comments if something wasn't going on.
Would come across as the players basically saying the club are f***ing up if they don't sign him which I doubt would go down well.
Only other way to see it is the club have made the offer and it's totally upto him now and the players are going for the peer pressure root

The lad could actually have quite a few offers to think about though, guessing the players know this and this is their way of trying to convince him…it’s not asif he’s ever gonna go back to his parent club and due to the clause in the loan it’s not like the players are being shadey tapping him up or anything.Like others got a sneaky feeling he's signing.
