Bitterness from Other Fans

Nobody wants the likes of Brentford and Bournemouth in the top flight. Sorry but they are nothing clubs with a small support.

I'd much rather have bigger Northern clubs like Sheffield etc.
I’ve not really got anything against them and don’t mind those clubs upsetting the more established clubs, I just don’t understand the bitterness about us finishing ahead of them, it comes across as entitled.

I'm here for a booting if you want..

But gotta say, What a season your mob have had..

European football on your first year up is an amazing achievement..

Now, that's the nicest thing I have to say to the good people on here..

Ive been out all day on the booze and there is no need for the heat..

Mags in our Durham village (you obviously know before I say owt) were bitter as fukk. Wouldnt bother with Europa conference, Europa league will get us relegated, second season struggle, small weak squad, cartel, etc etc

Brentford and Brighton forums talking down on us a canny bit. "f***ing Sunderland." "Teams like Sunderland"

f***ing jokers.
We are bigger than both the clubs put together in relation to football history,

London and southern clubs man think they are bigger when the majority of the clubs have better support/ fan bases up north.

f***ing southern fairies.

Second season syndrome
Not ready for europe
Not the champions league

Absolute bitter Bellends and rattled to fuck by us
You're right about them being bitter and being bellends but I'll be happy enough if we guard against just that. I want our ambitions to be the same, being cautious, expecting survival and building on what we have built so far. I don't want to get ahead of ourselves. We've all seen what happened to them up the road.

The match report on the has over 500 comments - most of them highly complimentary from fans of other persuasions (with some mild banter thrown into the mix). Worth a read IMO.
Cheers. Just the kind of thing I’ve been looking for. As much fun as it is to laugh at the bitter freaks of social media, it’s nice to read some kind words about the club.

From this BBC article:

At the bottom there are links for related topics, somehow we’re absent from the list of clubs. Only 19 clubs played this season.

Brentford

Apparently we cheated and were 33rd in the "justice league"

[/Sorry but I really struggle with the “we don’t really want to be in Europe brigade”…… of course we do. What’s the point of football if it’s not about a bit of glory. I suspect we would have had a squad capable of competing in both.
They will be the same crowd that didn't want promotion to the Championship, and the same crowd that didn't want promotion to the Premier League, and the same crowd that don't want to win the FA Cup etc.

I thought I was still on RTG when I read that. And I might be being a bit thick here but WTF is the justice league

All I have had from mags is pleased we finished 7th and not 8th as we would of pissed the conference cup.

Not sure if thats a compliment or bitterness tbh

Had similar, "Europa? That's nice - let us know when you qualify for the Champions League, but you'll not as you'll be stretched to fuck, get knocked out in the first round [yes I know] and get relegated by second season syndrome." said while holding back tears, it's been a toxic season for them and they are cacking it for all the departures and the end of PIF splashing the cash.

F me - lets do an article about the top six as nothing unexpected happened beyond that and the three that came up went back down as usual.
