Geertruida

Felt the treatment of him this season has been very very harsh but when he's played he's done very well and getting better with a longer run in the team.

It's a no brainer signing if he wants it still, need players like him who can cover numerous positions especially with the extra games.

Have a feeling the lack of games he has had here may have something to do with he's got a move lined up to Liverpool after all them rumours.
I seriously doubt he would be a regular starter for Liverpool. It wouldn’t surprise me to see Slot turfed out and Gerty would lose one of his main ‘ supporters’
Then again they may offer twice the wages and that could be enough to ease the pain of being on the bench

It’s a no brainier to bring him in at 20 million blokes a quality player versatile as fuck and top of that hes mentality looks great for the team

I think he will stay. Not sure why I think it, but just got a feeling
Like most have said, he should have had more game time but in RLB we trust
However when you see him in some of the videos and he will have chance of European football, why leave? We will need the squad next season as fixtures will be brutal and extra 8 games by December will take its toll so the squad will be needed, I just think he will stay.
I hope he does as that defence with him in looks better

Look at 6 min 10 seconds in ... Florent Ghisolfi is offering him some more money to stay, isn't he? Or is he telling him, "Look what you couldn've won!"

Fifty years of ups and downs following Sunderland - like many, many others - and had plenty of favourite players that won me over from Gary Rowell and Pop Robson to Benno, Gabbiadini, Quinn and countless others. But this season was so special simply because the odds were stacked against us more than ever. From Xhaka to Sadiki to Le Fee to O'Nien to Rigg to Le Bris ... and all the rest including those working tirelessly behind the scenes ... it has been one of the most dramatic seasons in my lifetime where almost every player has created a story that feels special. Want most of them to stay, but to any that leave, thank you very much for the good times you gave us this season, including Mr. Geertruida. I hope he stays though.

The latter stages of the season have changed my mind on him. Still not a massive believer in his versatility. It would take an emergency for me to be okay with him playing centre half or midfield. However, his composure at right back in the run-in contrasted with Mukiele’s lack of discipline. I’m now thinking he’s first choice right back for next year. And surely a European run will force Reg to rotate a bit more anyway?!
Muk is better at centre half and he can’t disappear out of position , so get Gerty signed up
Look on insta, it has Isidor and Brobbey telling him to sign and also replies from Mundle, Xhaka and Reinildo

The end doesn’t sound promising tbh
