I have actually seen Sunderland play St. Truiden at the Staaien Stadion in a friendly back in 2002 during a pre-season tour of Belgium (we won 1-0 thanks to a Kevin Phillips goal). Also went to Royal Antwerp when Peter Reid had beer thrown over him by a disgruntled fan and KAA Gent where Kevin Kilbane infamously gave the V-sign to the travelling supporters when he was jeered following an over-hit cross. It was certainly an eventful trip.unfortunately not

I'm absolutely over the moon. I said way back when, it was a possibility and we have done it, absolutely amazing. I've just got back from the pub. This is my best season ever, what a year. I will never, ever forget this season. Hell of a team - and roll on the Europa!!! Haway the lads, have a lovely evening and Bank holiday break.
Might watch the League One Play-Off Final and the Scottish Premiership Play-Off Final 2nd Leg on Sky Sports Main Event tomorrow if I have the opportunity, will and inclination.
