Could we finally get Charlie Cresswell this summer

no idea mate, it's going to be an interesting transfer window for us, if any of the lads wanted away they might have a change of heart, and we must be a canny pull for signings.

We need a few of the current crop out if so as we have bought 3 for nearly 20 million each in the last 12 months.

Angulo, Talbi, Ta Bi are going nowhere. Presume Traore might move on and we will try and sell Adringa.

Still don’t need loads though with those 3 being kept

Charlie Hughes (CB), although he’s just come up with Hull so may not want to leave this summer. Or Harry Amass (LB) who has been on loan at Norwich from Utd. Or Ashley Phillips (CB) who has been on loan at Stoke from Spurs. All young highly rated English defenders who may be interested in a European adventure and probably won’t cost a fortune.
 
We definitely need one more centre half, even if we include Mukiele as RCB. That’s him and Ballard competing. On the left side Alderete is quality and O’Nien has been great but I’d still want 5 really so a very good LCB would be a priority for me.
Definitely keep Geertruida if at all possible and bring in a Left back.
That would be the defence sorted.
 
Nah, look at the value for money signings of Aldarete, Nordi etc.....Cresswell would be double what we paid for those boys and not as good. I trust the recruitment team to unearth a few more £9million gems this summer.
 
We could definitely do with a young talented centre back to start building up. I think they will be cheaper and younger than Cresswell though.

Also wouldn't be surprised if Seelt is brought back for cover.

That's why I think they'll keep him as cover, there won't be many clubs wanting to spend much on him given his injury record. As you say, started well at Wolfsburg, so I'd trust him to fill in when needed/play cup games

Yes mate really wanted Hughes too sadly they went up now maybe we go for Callum Doyle bring him back home?

Think Traore has a one year club option. Wouldnt be surprised if we trigger it now with all the extra games. He was good when he was fit and cant imagine hes too unhappy playing the odd game rather than starting every week at this stage of his career
